To provide professional, affordable arts resources for emerging artists and creative professionals who many not have access to studio space, gallery exhibitions or an artist community. To provide affordable, quality arts programming to youth and adults throughout Philadelphia and the region.

It is essential for artists to have a space solely for their creative process, however in recent years it has become increasingly difficult for emerging artists and low income creative professionals to financially have access to any kind of workspace outside of their homes. Artist studio prices have skyrocketed, and even sharing a studio with other artists has become unaffordable. The shared spaces that are available are marketed towards very specific types of artists such as graphic art, printmaking, or textile artists. This leaves many artists that do not fall into those creative categories isolated from any kind of art community.

One For All is a space for every artist and hopes to connect people of all kinds through affordable access to the arts. Our gallery space is professionally curated and accepts worldwide artist submissions year round. We offer membership options for our artists and creative professionals, some of which include shared studio space, private studio spaces and access to our gallery.

Community is an important aspect of One For All, so we offer a variety of low cost art classes and creative programming in our studios throughout Philadelphia and the region. We team up with other organizations as well to further our reach and incorporate the arts into all aspects of serving communities. We host monthly workshops and events on a range of topics for professional and personal growth in the arts. In addition, we strive to encourage personal wellbeing by offering yoga and meditation within our programming for all ages.

One For All Gallery exhibits professional artists worldwide, putting initial priority on local artists in our own community. SHARED ART STUDIO

One For All is a shared art studio space for young emerging artists, offering three tiers of membership in addition to a work exchange program. The studio holds weekly in progress critiques, and monthly professional development classes for all artist members. Having an artist community is essential in growing as a creative professional and we hope you consider joining ours!

EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS

Throughout the year, One For All curates six art exhibitions. Each exhibit has an opening and closing reception in the gallery. Every piece shown is meticulously selected by our Gallery Director and is considered based on quality and relevance to theme. One For All also hosts a variety of events in our gallery and studio spaces. Our exhibitions and community events are both always free and open to the public.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

One For All is proud to have positive relationships with organizations all throughout Philadelphia. We travel to other locations and offer sliding scale, donation based art workshops to reach as many communities as we can.

WELLBEING CLASSES

It’s easy to get bogged down by the stressors of everyday life. Thats why One For All takes pride in being a space community members can come to for some important self care. We offer low cost yoga and meditation hours throughout each week to keep our guests present in the moment. One For All will also be periodically offering free healthy habits workshops for the public.

ART CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

In addition to offering professional development classes for emerging artists, One For All is passionate about providing affordable access to the arts to the larger Philadelphia community. From art exploration with toddlers, to beginner figure drawing for adults, there is a class here for everyone!

Meet The Team

Kim Jackson

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Kim has a diverse background in the arts which started at a young age. It became a dream of hers to start and run her own non-profit arts center, and began setting goals to accomplish that dream. Kim has Bachelors of Fine Arts degree and over 15 years experience in the community arts and art education field. You can often find her creating works in whichever studio she is teaching in at the time!

Summer Brunson

STUDIO MANAGER
Meet Summer, our Studio Manager and art instructor here at One For All. Having access to quality Art Education and professional arts resources is so important for all communities, so we are happy to have such a wonderful Art Educator on our team! Summer has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree focusing in painting, and uses the One For All Studio space to work.

Caroline Hicks

VOLUNTEER
Caroline is one of our awesome Work Exchange Members. When One For All has community engagement projects, Caroline does all of our background research and learns all she can about the topic so we can share it with the rest of the team. This role is so important because it helps us all understand the history of our community, so we can move forward together into the future making the right decisions! Caroline is also a Photographer and Digital Media Artist, and uses the One For All Studio for her Photoshoots.
Louis Benioff

VOLUNTEER
Louis is our all around, all hands on deck volunteer who helps out wherever is needed! From painting the gallery walls, setting up displays, cleaning/organizing, to helping out with our kids programs, Louis is an important part of our community here at One For All. While we miss him while he is away at college way up in Connecticut, he comes back home to us during his breaks and really helps us out a bunch. Without volunteers like Louis, collectively accomplishing our mission would be so much more difficult.
Briana Stroman

VOLUNTEER
Briana is a Philadelphia-based photographer who has volunteered with One For All for 2 years now. When it comes to capturing our events, Briana is our favorite go to Photographer. Her goal is to capture truth & transparency in her work & present them as visual stories.

Mike Allocca

Youth Arts Volunteer
Mike has a degree in both Art Therapy and Criminal Justice/Behavioral Analysis which makes him an excellent candidate to help out in the classroom. You will periodically see Mike in Thorndale helping out around the studio or working with the kids.
