About Our Classes
Offering quality, affordable arts programming to the communities of Philadelphia is part of our mission at One For All and is something that is very important to us. We have classes and programming for everyone here, and we are extremely flexible so if you need to have any accommodations set up just let us know! Our space in West Philadelphia is wheelchair accessible and welcoming to all walks of life.
Please sign up for the classes you would like to attend by filling out the appropriate forms below. This allows us to keep track of attendance, supplies, and class availability. After you are registered , look out for an email that will include your class seat confirmation, what you can look forward to in class, and instructions.
Adult Classes

The past few years have been extremely difficult for everyone around the world. Through all the hardships and struggles, it’s easy to feel lost, overwhelmed and alone. Artists and creative minds often walk through life on a path less traveled. We are here to help provide some support to our fellow artists. After all, isn’t the quote “All for One and One For All"? No matter what, you can join us in this Artists for Artists supportive and conversational community.

Artists often get really excited about what we are reading about or learning, but then have no one to gush about it with because we are usually one of the only creative minds around. Well, One For All is the community for you because if it’s one thing we love to do, its nerd out about what we are reading and learning about. In this book club we will focus on creative and arts subjects and have discussions on our chosen book every other week.

Tuesdays 7-8:30pm starting May 17th and runs for 8 weeks
$350 for all 8 weeks
In this class, students will study poetry written by some of the greatest poets to have ever graced the page with the word. From the Romantic era to contemporary times, students will get a strong feel for the basis of poetry’s history and foundations. Students will be writing and sharing their own work. Each class will begin with a free-writing period, followed by a slot of time designated for students to share and workshop their work in a free, open-minded, class-like setting. The writing period will be structured through prompts, forms, and general free-writing.

Thursdays from 7pm-8:30pm starting June 9th
$350 for 8 weeks
In this beginner's portrait class, we will learn the proportions of the face, the shapes and forms that make up facial features and the color theory of mixing skin tones. Creating realistic imagery does not have to be intimidating and with us you will learn easy tricks of the trade and learn to love the art of portraits!

Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm starting June 8th
$160 for 8 weeks
In this color journey, not only will you learn the basics of mixing colors, but you will also learn color psychology and color harmonies! With this knowledge you will be able to dive deep into any art form, confident that your use of color will be absolutely brilliant!

Have you always wanted to learn how to do Acrylic Fluid Paint Pouring? Intimidated to start on your own? Well we are here to introduce you to the world of fluid acrylics in a safe and exciting atmosphere!

Mondays from 7-8:30pm starting June 6th
$160 for 8 weeks
In this reflective weekly course, you will listen and experience a Guided Meditation focusing on specific life obstacles and personal memories. After meditation, each student will create a work of art inspired by their unique experience during the meditation exercise. You will be guided by the instructor throughout this art therapy like course.
Apprentice Program
$250 PER 4 WEEK SESSION
Have you always wanted to pursue a professional fine arts career, but never had the resources or opportunities? That’s why we are offering an apprentice artist program where you can learn all the skills you need from professional working artists. In a session, you will have a 3-hour foundations art studio course each week for one month, in addition to a 3-hour studio block each week so you can work on your studio project/”homework”. Each session is a Foundations Level Studio Class and you can take one or two each month. An opening group critique will start the class, followed by a lesson and demonstration, ending in studio work time with the instructor around for guidance.
Apprentice Art Classes begin in September. If you are interested in signing up, please fill out the pre-registration form.
